As a Product Manager, I oversee the entire product life cycle, combining market research with user-centric design to drive innovation and enhance user experience. Binta Financial is a company based in Canada. The company provides immigrants with financial services and helps them build credits by rent reporting, amongst other services. 


Goal: Develop and launch the Binta App.


My Role: Product Manager.


I collaborated with various teams on the project to bring the product to the market. Below are some of my tasks and deliverables:

  

  • Developed and articulated a clear product document aligned with the company's mission and goals.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and conceptualization to implementation, launch, and ongoing optimization.
  • Carried out  research and analysis of the Fintech market in the USA and Canada to identify gaps and opportunities to guide strategic product decisions.
  • Constantly collaborated with diverse teams and prepared Product Requirement Document
  • Translated user needs into actionable and innovative feature requests, aligning product evelopment with user expectations.
  • Designed the product roadmap, and guided the team to adhere to technical specifications, resulting in timely and efficient product delivery.
  • Coordinate frequent user testing sessions, collect feedback, and drive iterative improvements to enhance user satisfaction and product usability.

 MyFoodAngels is a FoodTech platform that connects customers with high-quality farm-fresh foods and provides personalized meal recommendations based on available ingredients using AI.


Goal: Develop and launch MyFoodAngels product, and oversee the product life cycle.

As the Product Manager at MyFoodAngels, I spearhead the formulation of our product strategy and vision. My role involves adeptly orchestrating cross-functional teams within MyFoodAngels to drive the evolution of our platform. This encompasses the implementation of pioneering features and functionalities that are reshaping the landscape of fresh food shopping for our customers. Notable achievements include the integration of user-friendly interfaces, the introduction of personalized meal recommendations, and the optimization of our order processing systems for enhanced efficiency.

  • Implemented a      data-driven approach to prioritize feature development, reducing time-to-market      for critical features by 20%.
  • Collaborated      with the engineering team to streamline the delivery process, resulting in      a 15% improvement in product release cadence.
  • Introduced a      customer feedback program, resulting in a 25% increase in customer satisfaction      scores and a 15% reduction in customer support tickets.



Prime Insurance

Prime Insurance Ltd is a new UK based Insurance company.  I was the Tehnical Project  and Product Manager.


Goal:   To create and launch a website for Prime Insurance Company; a UK-based insurance firm, establishing a digital presence for easy access to services, enhancing visibility, generating revenue, streamlining claims recovery, attracting traffic, and maintaining competitiveness to secure a significant market share. 


My Role: Project | Product Manager

  

  • Directing the      end-to-end development lifecycle of a high-impact website, from      conceptualization to deployment, ensuring adherence to project timelines  and budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborating  closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, while effectively managing expectations and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Harnessing the      collective talents of cross-functional teams to execute on project requirements. Leveraging various tools: SmartSheet, Microsoft Projects,  Asana, Trello, Basecamp, Jira, Google Workspace, RAID log, Draw.io e.t.c to complete every project.
  • Overseeing the implementation of robust testing protocols to guarantee the reliability,  security, and performance of the website, while proactively addressing any      potential issues or bottlenecks.
  • Providing  strategic guidance and mentorship to team members, facilitating their professional growth and development, while fostering a culture of  continuous improvement and excellence.

Authecity

 Authecity.com is owned and operated by Authecity Systems LTD, a technology company based in Nigeria. 


Goal:   To create and launch a website; Authenticity. The website  was developed to  address of counterfeiting faced by product manufacturers and distributors. 


My Role: Product Manager

  

  • Directing the end-to-end development lifecycle of a high-impact website, from   conceptualization to deployment, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Coordinate frequent user testing sessions, collect feedback, and drive iterative improvements to enhance user satisfaction and product usability.
  • I led the product team and collated highly level documentations for the product.
  • Collaborating  closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, while effectively managing expectations and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Leveraging the power of equity crowdfunding, Bryt provides a dynamic ecosystem that connects budding entrepreneurs with enthusiastic investors, fostering innovation and growth within the campus community.


Product Vision: 

Become the leading platform connecting campus-based start-ups with investors, mentors, and resources to drive innovation and economic growth within academic communities 


Business Objectives:

•Increase user registration by 70% in the next year. 

•Expand to five new campuses. 

•Boost average investments by 40% within 6 months 

•Maintain a 4.5/5 user rating. 

•Implement 80% user-suggested improvements. 

•Measure and showcase economic impact of funded start-ups.
